Kobe Bryant served as Honorary Chair for the  HomeWalk 2012 and this year and it proved to be the organization’s most high-profile event to date – all who attended were eager to participate in the Sixth Annual 5K Run/Walk to end homelessness. Kobe’s foundation had  already committed $5,000 to HomeWalk and matched every additional dollar given. In Kobe’s early morning address he emphasized the importance of teamwork and rallying family, friends and colleagues around such a worthy cause, “We understand the significance of being here. It’s to inspire others to join forces with us to eradicate homelessness. Let’s embrace this challenge and let’s do it together!”
