Kobe Bryant entered the game against the Pistons Tuesday night needing 15 points to surpass hall-of-fame player Dominique Wilkins for the 10th spot on the NBA’s all-time scoring leader list.
Kobe moved past Wilkins at the 6:45 mark of the third quarter on a driving floater down the lane. Kobe finished the game with 17 points on the night which puts him currently at 26,671 career points.
As Kobe continues to climb the list, Bryant is only 39 points away from the 9th spot; which is held by the legendary Oscar Robertson (26,710 career points). Congratulations to one of the very best to ever play the game; we are blessed to watch such a player in our generation continue to achieve so much success.
